The Joint Venture LLC “UZCOPPER” was established in 2024 and specializes in setting up enterprises for the reprocessing of technogenic deposits, producing concentrates and finished products containing copper, gold, and other precious metals. The company also develops solutions for the organization and management of heavy-duty mining transport complexes, providing services to enterprises engaged in open-pit mining of mineral resources in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Innovative Processing of Technogenic Waste

Without disturbing the earth’s subsurface through traditional mining processes, UZCOPPER has pioneered a new direction in Uzbekistan by establishing an innovative, modern, and environmentally friendly production facility for the reprocessing of decades-old technogenic waste from the Almalyk Mining and Metallurgical Complex, with the secondary recovery of non-ferrous and precious metals.

By developing complex and modern solutions for managing the technology of final product output at the newly established mining and processing complex — including the handling, storage, and utilization of technogenic waste — the company incorporates state-of-the-art, reliable equipment from leading global manufacturers, along with effective solutions that minimize and eliminate negative environmental impact, while optimizing water balance strategies, water consumption, and land use.

Strategic Direction 2025:
Mining Transport Services

In 2025, UZCOPPER launched a new strategic direction — providing mining material transportation services for mining enterprises. This will enable the introduction and operation of the latest mining transport equipment at enterprises across the Republic, supporting mineral extraction tasks while minimizing negative environmental impact from emissions and ensuring a modern approach to the maintenance and servicing of high-performance equipment.

The team of JV LLC “UZCOPPER” comprising specialists and managers with extensive experience in the mining industry and project management, is focused on developing optimal infrastructure, production design, and service support for the future processing and mining transport complexes.

By collaborating with leading international design organizations, the company develops modern solutions for providing services in open-pit mining at all stages of mine development — from preparation and design to the execution of complex production operations.

Currently, we are actively working on projects for the construction of a new mining and processing complex in the Republic of Uzbekistan based on technogenic deposit, as well as on the development of a mining transport complex designed to operate heavy-duty dump trucks for the transportation of mined mass in open-pit conditions.
